# Web Design

**Web design** is the [art](https://parisvega.com/work/art/) of visual communication through the medium of websites. As a service, the goal of web [design](https://parisvega.com/work/design/) is to [create](https://parisvega.com/choosing-path/) a website experience that turns visitors into customers for the website’s owner.

## My Journey in **Web Design**

I started learning about **web design** in 2002 through a part time job at Evision Marketing Group in Tuscaloosa, Alabama while I attended college at the University of Alabama. After working on a few freelance **web design** [projects](https://parisvega.com/work/) in 2006, I started working full time at Evision.

I went deep into **web design** and web development for the next few years. While honing my craft I learned about [UX design](https://parisvega.com/work/design/user-experience-design/), UI design, and usability. This lead me to [work](https://parisvega.com/work/) on some exciting projects for the US Military. Eventually I started my own **web design** & development company, [The Web Craftsmen](https://parisvega.com/work/the-web-craftsmen/) in 2012.

I joined [The Nine](https://parisvega.com/work/the-nine-digital-marketing-agency/), a **web design** and [digital marketing](https://parisvega.com/work/services/) agency, in 2020.

Then started my own website & [digital marketing agency](https://parisvega.com/work/the-nine-digital-marketing-agency/) focused on [SEO](https://parisvega.com/work/seo/) in 2025 called [Enok SEO](https://parisvega.com/work/seo/).

Eventually, I’ll post more of my **web design** work here.
